This plant is a gift to watch bloom every year
and smells wonderful.
The Clematis ternifolia, also called the fleeceflower or Sweet
Autumn Clematis. It can climb up to thirty feet high and spread up to ten feet wide. The plant is
indigenous to Japan. It does best in full sun or partial shade and should be pruned
severely early in the spring. This Clematis blooms in late summer or early fall.
My Clematis really likes its’ home in my landscape
